Step 1. Register with one of the business developers
To apply for the SOL, you must check yourself in to a business developer with your financing needs. You can find the business developers at Tilburg University, Breda University of Applied Sciences, Avans Hogeschool, Midpoint Brabant or Rewin. Student entrepreneurs can report to one of the business developers at their own educational institution. Startups from Central Brabant can contact Midpoint Brabant and startups from West Brabant can register with Rewin.
Step 2. Request and fill in the application form
You will receive the form to apply for the SOL from your business developer. Make sure you fill in this form completely. If you have any questions, you can always contact your business developer.
Step 3. Submit the application
Submit your financing request digitally at request@starterslift.nl. This application form also includes:
- Extract from the Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA);
- Your CV (or CVs with multiple entrepreneurs);
- Extract from the Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) (if you are already registered);
- Integrity statement;
- 2020 liquidity budget
Your business developer has the correct forms for this and will help you fill in and/or request statements.
Step 4. The assessment by Starterslift Investments
Starterslift Investments assesses the applications for the SOL for completeness, discusses them with the business developers and decides whether you can give an online pitch to the assessment committee. Your application can be granted, granted under certain conditions, or rejected. There is no possibility to appeal against this decision.
Step 5. When the loan is granted
Upon granting, a loan agreement is drawn up in which the agreements on maturity, interest rate, grace period, due date, etc. are recorded. Since it is a personal loan the agreement must also be signed by your partner in case you are married or having a registered partnership.
